How we rate crash games

CriterionWeightHow we score it (0–10)
Return to player20%Published RTP scored as (RTP − 94) × 2.5, capped at 10. Where a game gives a range, we use its lower end, the return you are guaranteed.
Player control20%Cash-out decision (2) + auto cash-out at any target (3) or presets (2) + extra bets per round: two (1), four (2) + autoplay (1) or autoplay with stop conditions (2) + choice of risk level (1).
Player protection15%If you disconnect: cashed out at the current multiplier (5), conditional cash-out (4), round settles itself (3), bet stays in the round (2), not covered (1) + stop-loss in autoplay (2) + limits shown in game (1) + verifiable fairness (2).
Win potential15%Published maximum multiplier: 999,999x+ (10), 100,000x+ (9), 25,000x+ (8), 10,000x+ (7), 1,000x+ (5), lower (3). No published maximum: neutral 5.
Rules transparency15%Checklist of the in-game rules screen: RTP (2), bet limits (1), maximum win (1), disconnection policy (up to 2), latency or rounding (1), fairness mechanism (1), autoplay (1), game version (1).
Demo experience15%Official demo that loads on this site (3) + no promo pop-ups (2) + stable in our test (2) + how-to-play guidance (up to 2) + rules in the menu (1), minus 1 for a risky default setting.

Each criterion is scored from 0 to 10 and multiplied by its weight. The weighted result is converted to our final rating with rating = 2 + 0.75 × weighted score, which keeps the order and the gaps between games while placing every rating on a 5–10 band. We have no commercial relationship with any of the providers, and the rubric is the same for every game.

Bet limits and maximum wins come from the demo versions (USD, EUR, FUN or DMO play money). Operators can configure their own limits.

Multiplayer or single-player?

Multiplayer rounds (Aviator, JetX, Aviatrix, Crash X, Space XY, Helicopter X): one shared multiplier, live lists of other players’ bets, a betting window between rounds.

Single-player crash-style games (Chicken Road, Chicken Road 2.0, Balloon, Aviamasters): you start each round yourself. Aviamasters has no cash-out at all; Chicken Road games let you cash out after each step.

What happens if you disconnect

This is the rule that differs most between games, and it matters on mobile data:

What happens to an active bet when your connection drops, by game Connection lost during a round → Cashed out for youAviatorAviatrixHelicopter X¹Balloon² Bet stays in the roundJetXCrash X(only auto cash-outcan still settle it) Not covered in the rulesSpace XYAviamastersChicken RoadChicken Road 2.0
¹ If the round has already started. ² Only if the balloon is at least 1% above your bet. Source: each game’s rules screen.
  • Cashed out for you: Aviator and Aviatrix (at the current multiplier); Helicopter X if the round has started; Balloon if you are at least 1% up.
  • Bet stays in the round: JetX and Crash X. Only a pre-set auto cash-out protects you.

Our advice after testing: set an auto cash-out before every round you play on an unstable connection.
